Mauder el 100x120El Mauder

I'm El Mauder I have a background in General Linguistics and Latin American Studies and graduated with a thesis on medieval Spanish, investigating the semantic and syntactic processes that contributed to the modern use of the verbs ser and estar. In my Ph.D. research, I investigated the decision process involved in the use of the dative versus accusative pronouns in Latin American Spanish. In between, I did some research along the borderline between phonetics and phonology. In addition, I have a keen interest in research methodology – in the art of planning, designing and executing high quality research.

At present, I am investigating the impact of case- and gender violations in the use of Spanish pronouns on the processing of information, hoping to get more insight into the syntactic or semantic nature of pronouns and their mental processing.
