Kalinka Timmer

kalinkatimmerMy name is Kalinka Timmer. I was a PhD-student at the Cognitive Psychology department, LUCL and LIBC. In 2008 I received my Master degree in Biological & Cognitive Psychology from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. My research interests are in the process of reading aloud, specifically the conversion from orthography to phonology. I make use of behavioural and electrophysiological techniques to develop a better understanding of how the brain gives us the intriguing ability to read aloud.
